Traditionally, the Chinese brew their green teas directly in a cup or glass. The leaves have room to open and dance and it is quite an art to watch them open.
To adapt their simple and traditional method to our western needs, we found this small carafe.
Just slip in 2.5g of green tea leaves, hot water and a minute later, the tea is ready.
Pour the tea into a cup, the leaves will remain in the carafe for a subsequent brewing thanks to the integrated glass filter.
Whatever the size of your tea leaves, long like a Taiping Houkui or voluminous like a wild tea, the small tea carafe will allow you an optimal infusion and to observe the leaves which open and dance.
